Tomorrow sees the release of the first DLC for Call of Duty Infinite Warfare. Posted by Infinity Ward's Community Manager Ashton Williams in a Reddit thread, the official patch notes outline feature tweaks such as new leaderboards (available immediately) and future updates coming to combat records and the emblem editor in late February.
The complete patch notes are available below. The update is called Update 1.08 and it comes with new missions within the bounds of the Mission Team system which now reaches up to level 100. Here's all that there is in the new Patch 1.08 for "Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare". Infinite Warfare's "Sabotage" DLC will hit PlayStation 4 consoles on January 31 and PC and Xbox One some time later.
First of all, PlayStation Lifestyle reported that there are new missions to keep "Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare" busy with the new Patch 1.08 for Xbox One and PlayStation 4. The higher your rank, the better the mission rewards. The expansion comes with new multiplayer maps and zombie content which also features film director Kevin Smith. Hyper Team Deathmatch will run up until February 3rd: Payload charge rates are bumped to 7x their normal speed (all platforms). As per IBTimes, this pack has a similar structure to the Call of Duty DLC which came before it. The 1.08 update also added option to let players who are playing using local split-screen to change their own missions individually in the lobby before a match starts. It can also safeguard against jitter mod exploits. At the final kill cam, the team emblem displayed was the user's emblem who died instead of the player who got killed - this is now fixed as well. There are general fixes, such as "an issue where players can respawn looking like Infected after suicide".
Infinity Ward, key developer for the Call of Duty franchise, released a full list of notes detailing the enhancements and additions included in the Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare update. Various updates to weapon camos were also done.
Dominion - In this reimagining of the Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 classic map 'Afghan, ' ranged combat is focused from a variety of strategic vantage points to the center of this sprawling crash site.
