One lottery ticket sold in Bedminster for the Tuesday, January 24, 2017 drawing was one of three third-tier winners in the Mega Millions game. Lottery officials said this jackpot is estimated at $188 million, with $112 million in cash.
Two tickets sold in MI matched four white balls and the Mega ball to win $5,000.
Authorities say the victor will have the option of taking the full $188 million spread out over 30 years, or a lump sum amount of $112.3 million, less federal taxes.
There were 688,703 tickets sold that won at least $2 in the drawing.
While there was a grand-prize victor, no other players matched all five white balls drawn to win $1 million.
The jackpot resets to $15 million for the next drawing on Tuesday.
Classic Lotto draws at 7:05 p.m. on Mondays, Wednesdays and Saturdays. The Mega Millions drawing can be seen on WABC-TV stations. Tickets cost $1 each.
In this jackpot run, since November 18 there have been more than 23.7 million winning tickets sold at all prize levels, including 18 worth $1 million or more.
Saturday's Fantasy 5 jackpot is an estimated $129,000. The drawing for the Rolling Cash 5 is each night at 7:35 p.m.
