Ever since "The Last Jedi" was revealed to be the title of "Star Wars: Episode 8", fans have been hounding for more information to understand what it means. It's not just a single Jedi, but it's an army of Jedi that includes Skywalker, Rey and others as guardians of peace in the galaxy.
With a Super Bowl trailer release now out of the question, there are now reports that footage from "Star Wars: Episode 8 - The Last Jedi" will arrive at the Star Wars Celebration in April. But it would be hard to digitally insert the likeness of Alec Guinness onto the film, although not impossible. A BTS reel and a teaser for "Rogue One" were released in last year's Star Wars Celebration.
Star Wars News Net emphasized that with this in mind, fans should not expect any other footage from "The Last Jedi" to come out before the Star Wars Celebration.
Though Hayden Hayden Christensen has yet to publicly confirm his participation in the upcoming movie, it's safe to say that fans have been having a field day with their speculations. The website wrote, "Many people are betting that the first The Last Jedi teaser will be screened during the Star Wars fan event". This is not surprising considering that this also happened for "The Force Awakens", and "Rogue One". One of which even showed him working on the opening crawl for The Last Jedi. Those on the darkside, classically known as the Sith, use it as well. So if that were the case, then wouldn't it be reasonable to assume that Kylo Ren could also see the Force Ghosts? Although the image is simply Vader's burnt helmet, it is still the powerful dark presence of the former Sith Lord that reverberates throughout the scene.
"Star Wars: Episode 8 - The Last Jedi" will be released December 15.
Also, as seen in The Inverse, the argument of Anakin's return is pretty straightforward: The six films prior to "The Force Awakens" are ostensibly about the journey of Anakin Skywalker into darkness and his eventual redemption in "Return of the Jedi". But if Luke and Force Ghost Anakin were to team up on Kylo Ren, he could be saved before the end of the second movie in the Star Wars sequel trilogy.
