Later, he discovered Norman Reedus, who plays Daryl Dixon on "The Walking Dead", tweeted a photo and a thank you to the officer for helping his mom.
Not only did the responding officer comment on the situation, Benton Police Department even made mention on their official Facebook page.
"Thank you, Officer Stovall, from the Benton Police Department, for rescuing my mom when her auto broke down", Reedus wrote on Twitter to his 3.4 million followers.
According to a facebook post by the Benton Police Department, Officer Stovall was patrolling I-30 on Friday afternoon when he stopped to help a woman jumpstart her auto.
Stovall then helped the woman find a nearby mechanic to take the vehicle to so she could get back on the road safely, not knowing her link to a familiar face on television, police said on Instagram.
According to Arkansas Online, the BNPD said one of its officers, Andrew Stovall, came across a stranded driver on the side of Interstate 30 Friday.
Norman Reedus and the rest of the cast of AMC's The Walking Dead will return on Sunday, February 12, 2017 with the midseason premiere of season 7. I don't know about you Walker Worshipers, but that's awesome.
