Project Scorpio could have among other features a mode that will improve the performance of the games now available on Xbox One. We are already seeing it happening to the Wii U now that the Nintendo Switch is nearly here and it would make a lot of sense for Microsoft to push the Xbox One S and Scorpio instead of the older Xbox One.
In an exchange on Twitter, Xbox head Phil Spencer said "never say never" with regards to getting Xbox 360 games running on Windows 10 via emulation. Or will the Scorpio have something like the PS4 Pro's "Boost Mode" to be able to distribute enhancements across all games?
Players should be happy about this statement, especially after the disappointing cancellation of Scalebound a year ago that had Xbox One players slightly pissed off.
"I am very confident in the way Scorpio will run existing Xbox One games", has been declared by Phil Spencer. Should have more 1P games than a year ago, great diversity + launching new IP.
2017 is a big year for Xbox since the Scorpio console will be out later this year.
