Nintendo Toys Are Coming Back to McDonald's Happy Meals

Now on the Switch, Mario Kart 8 Deluxe doesn't have much to offer in the innovation department, but it still ranks as the most impressive Mario Kart release to date.

Nintendo Switch consoles are still hard to find.

The tie between Nintendo and Mc Donald's doesn't just end up with the Happy Meal toys; there are chances to win Nintendo switches at the McDonald's.

The partnership is a promotion timed to run alongside the launch of "Mario Kart 8 Deluxe" on the Nintendo Switch, which arrives on April 28.

You can learn more about all of these games (and a few other new releases on the Switch and Wii U) after the break. Everyone won't be starting the game at the same skill level.

In honor of the April 28th launch of Mario Kart 8 for Nintendo Switch, Target has unveiled themed shopping carts. After all, each Mario Kart title has to date being a phenomenal success, and there is just something about Nintendo's magical touch in a kart racing game that makes it all the more unique.

This "Mario Kart 8 Deluxe" event allows Nintendo to entice players back to the app while reminding them of the availability of the latest entry in its popular racing game franchise and the existence of the Switch, its new, portable, dedicated gaming console. If you're looking to pick up a first-place deal on the hectic racer, here are the best prices on Mario Kart 8 Deluxe in Australia.

So for everyone else, get your fix while you can. As a multiplayer classic, Mario Kart 8 Deluxe proves it's worth on the new hybrid console.

For both the Wii and Wii U, Nintendo released first week sales for its new consoles, with the Wii selling an impressive 600,000 in the United States and the Wii U a comparatively disappointing 400,000 after eight days.

Unsurprisingly, once the prototype's new direction had been solidified, Nintendo spent a lot of time developing and refining Mario Kart's genre-defining mechanics. Plus, battle mode has been revamped and includes Balloon Battle and Bob-omb Blast, with all-new courses such as Urchin Underpass and Battle Stadium, and returning ones like (GCN) Luigi's Mansion and (SNES) Battle Course 1 from Super Mario Kart on the Super Nintendo Entertainment System.
