The film has achieved this feat in less than 3 weeks and that too without the support of collections from China. Infact, as per the sources, the vital ground work for the adaptation of Baahubali 2 as a television series has already been started.

"'Baahubali 2: The Conclusion' is a one-horse race". The movie has collected about Rs 1,227 crore in India and another Rs 275 crore overseas at the end of its three week theatrical run. In the opening week, the film earned Rs 534 crore which included Rs 247 crore in Hindi while the Tamil, Telugu and Malayalam versions earned Rs 287 crore. Baahubali crossed 1000 Crore mark within 9 days, and now the figure is 1500 Crore. This makes Baahubali 2 the sole member of this club.

The film, the follow-up to Rajamouli's Baahubali: The Beginning, has outperformed previous top-spot holders, the Aamir Khan films PK and Dangal, on its way to the 1,500-crore landmark. Karan Johar shared, "The BIGGEST box office success story! The worldwide mania continues", he wrote.

On May 7, 2017, the film had entered the Rs 100 crore club.

Yes, thats right. The producer of Bahubali series, Sobhu Yarlagadda has confirmed that the blockbuster film Baahubali will now be adapted as TV series that will transform the Indian television industry totally with its record-breaking TRPs.
