DETROIT (AP) - Graco Children's Products is recalling more than 25,000 auto seats because the harness webbing can break in a crash and may not keep children restrained.

The company's My Ride 65 convertible auto seats failed a crash test run by the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration.

Only units manufactured on 7/22/2014 and that have a webbing code 2014/06 on a tag on the harness webbing are affected.

In the event of a crash, the seat's webbing may not properly restrain your child, the release said.

No injuries have been reported in association with the defect.

Graco Children's Products Inc.

"National Highway Traffic Safety Administration evaluates the restraint system compliance including the individual components of the auto seat and the complete vehicle seat in a dynamic crash simulation", Graco said in a notice.

Graco plans to notify registered owners and provide replacement harnesses.

Graco will contact customers and retailers about the recall and offer free replacement harnesses beginning July 17, 2017.
