Kevin Durant 'Sorry' for Telling Fans to Turn Off Boring Games

The Golden State Warriors have advanced to the NBA Finals for the third consecutive year after sweeping the San Antonio Spurs by way of a 129-115 victory in Game 4 of the Western Conference finals on Monday.

Draymond Green added 16 points, eight rebounds and eight assists for Warriors in the easy win at the AT&T Centre.

Playing without Kawhi Leonard and Tony Parker, the Spurs had little shot of upstaging the mighty Golden State Warriors, who are marching into the 2017 NBA Finals with an unprecedented 12-0 postseason record.

Ginobili scored 15 points and contributed seven assists on Monday.

In dispatching the Spurs, they became the first team ever to put 120 points on a Gregg Popovich-coached team three consecutive times; indeed the only time Popovich ever had one of his teams allow 120 in back-to-back games was when the 2005 team that eventually won the National Basketball Association title beat the Los Angeles Clippers and Warriors, both in overtime.

Lee, Pau Gasol and Dewayne Dedmon all have player options while Patty Mills and Jonathon Simmons are unrestricted free agents.

Ginobili drew appreciation from the crowd with a solid showing in what may have been his final career game, but San Antonio needed Aldridge to play like the five-time All-Star he is.

He left the court with 2:25 remaining, and the San Antonio fans began to chant "Manu, Manu, Manu", showing their appreciation for the 39-year-old who has a decision to make on his future.

"We were the better team but they did win".

Stephen Curry produced a game-high 36 points on 14-of-24 shooting. "I'm just glad we came out on top - as long as you get those 12 wins".

There are no more ways to extol the virtues of the Golden State Warriors without redundancy. One is to keep playing in this league at this age, enjoying every day, playing the sport that I still love.

The San Antonio Spurs' season is over, and it was anticlimactic.

Ginobili was drafted with the No. 57 overall pick in 1999.

"It's a great run, and we had an opportunity to get it done tonight, but more importantly, it was obviously just a closeout kind of mentality and trying to take care of our business and play a good 48-minute game", Curry said.

If Ginobili does indeed retire, Popovich's move will have been a smart one, allowing San Antonio fans to give a big goodbye to one of the team's all-time great players. Honestly. I think we're better. Golden State responded with an 11-3 surge of its own to end the period and took a 96-78 cushion into the final period. Ginobili, who came off the bench throughout much of his career, was announced as a starter for Game 4 and was greeted with a hug prior to tipoff by coach Gregg Popovich.
