Microsoft's next Surface Pro revealed in newly-leaked images

Microsoft's all set to host a major event in Shanghai on May 23 where it's promised to show the world what's next. This was previously exclusive to the signature edition Surface Pro Keyboard, but this will reportedly now be made the default Surface Pro keyboard.

Microsoft is to introduced a new Surface Pro-style hybrid next week - but it won't be a Surface Pro 5. A refresh is certainly needed now, but many are still wondering about the Surface Pro 5.

Interestingly, Mr. Panay is willing to wait for the arrival of meaningful updates until Microsoft decides to release the next iteration of Surface Pro.

News of Microsoft refreshing its Surface Pro line-up comes amid rumours that Apple is finally preparing to update its ageing MacBook range. The Surface Pro keyboard and Surface Pen are expected to come in four different colors, namely Charcoal, Burgundy, Platinum and Teal. The color of the accessories will be similar to the color options the recently launched Surface Laptop arrived in. Although the Surface Laptop proves to be a worthy competitor to Google's Chromebook lineup, there's no doubt that uses were hoping to catch a glimpse of the company's next-generation Surface Pro. Now, just before the launch, the press render of the upcoming 2-in-1 has been leaked online reveal some key design features. Other than this, there is no information available about the upcoming Surface Pro, so we suggest you hold your horses till May 23rd and stay tuned with us for more information on its pricing and availability. The new Surface Pro will go live on May 23 in Shanghai and will go on sale next month, while pre-orders will begin with the launch itself. Unfortunately, Microsoft won't live stream, so we won't be able to watch the unveiling live.
