Oppo A77 with 16MP front camera and 4GB RAM launched

The phone houses a 3200mAh battery and will be made available in Gold and Rose Gold colours. And that is quite expected as the motto of the smartphone developers clearly emphasizes that the focus of the smartphones is going to be on the camera.

Coming to the camera aspect, the OPPO A77 features a 13-MP rear-facing shooter with f/2.2 aperture, PDAF, LED Flash. The device features a 5.5-inch Full HD (1080p) display and is powered by an octa-core MediaTek MT6750T SoC clocked at the speed of 1.5GHz.

Oppo was reported to launch the Oppo A77 on May 26.

We're not expecting this one because the OPPO F3 was recently announced but the Chinese OEM has just introduced another smartphone. The main aesthetical difference between the two is the screen size and quality of the devices seeing how the OPPO A77 boasts a 5.5-inch Full HD display panel whereas the OPPO A57 shipped with a 5.2-inch HD screen.

The Oppo A77 comes with 64GB of inbuilt storage, expandable via microSD card (up to 128GB). In Taiwan, the smartphone will be up for pre-order from May 19. The smartphone runs Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow with ColorOS 3.0 UI skin on top. OPPO still hasn't disclosed whether its latest Android handset will ever be released in more territories and it's still unclear how much it could cost in other markets, though Taiwanese consumers will be able to purchase it for $10,090 NTD, which translates to approximately $333.

On the connectivity front, the OPPO A77 gets hybrid dual-SIM support with 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth, and Global Positioning System. It is unclear if Oppo A77 will be unveiled in India.
