Shadow Brokers Warn of June Data Dump

The Shadow Brokers mentioned that the leaked data could contain web browser, router, handset exploits and tools, newer Ops Disks and exploits for Windows 10, compromised network data from Central banks and compromised network data from Russian, Chinese, Iranian, or North Korean nuclear and missile programs. They released NSA's hacking tools which was the main reason behind those attacks. TheShadowBrokers is launching new monthly subscription model.

"Is being like wine of month club", they wrote in broken English.

In addition, Brokers is also touting possession of more nonpublic Windows 10 security holes, putting Microsoft on its heels as it tries to plug leaks in software, without assistance from government agencies that continue to hoard secrets. It wants to sell them, starting in June through "TheShadowBrokers Data Dump of the Month" service. Each month peoples can be paying membership fee, then getting members only data dump each month.

Another national security expert and former top Pentagon official, Michael Sulmeyer, echoed Hayden's fears about the Shadow Brokers "disaster".

The cybercriminal gang behind the WannaCry ransomware - Shadow Brokers - posed in a blog post that every month they will be releasing more and more of the data they stole.

The group whose leak of US spying tools aided the WannaCry outbreak says it will soon sell fresh software exploits and intelligence.

Tools that belonged to the NSA and were found in WannaCry, the ransomware that paralysed much of the world last weekend, were originally released by the Shadow Brokers in April.

The group said that it would be launching a serial data dump of hacking tools that supposedly are developed by the U.S. spy company, National Security Agency (NSA).

WannaCry ransomware attack might have slowed down, but it has managed to infect over 300,000 computers globally, with many businesses and even hospitals losing access to precious data.

What subscribers will do with these exploits and data will be up to them, the group said.

Asked how it learned about EternalBlue, Microsoft declined to comment to Information Security Media Group, except to say that it might withhold identifying any bug hunters who request to remain anonymous.

"Shadow Brokers claim they are not "interested in stealing grandmothers" retirement money", but rather this whole fight is about them vs theequationgroup.

Shadow Brokers were the first to reveal the vulnerabilities that led to the release of the WannaCry virus and it looks like they are back with a bang.

The Shadow Brokers first emerged past year, claiming to have accessed sensitive information from "The Equation Group", a hacking unit with suspected links to the US National Security Agency (NSA).

Microsoft did provide a patch for the vulnerability but a lot of machines were still exposed as they had not installed the updates.

The group goes on to skewer Microsoft President and Chief Legal Officer Brad Smith, who on Sunday issued pointed criticism of the USA spy agencies for stockpiling vulnerabilities.
