Tottenham Hotspur Star Admits Team Feel "Guilty" After Loss At West Ham

Tottenham Hotspur's Premier League title challenge suffered what should be a fatal blow on Friday night with a 1-0 defeat to West Ham United.

But they were short of their best at the London Stadium and Manuel Lanzini's goal 20 minutes into the second period ensured Spurs would remain four points behind Chelsea, having played a game more.

After the game, Noble paid credit to the display, which he says had left him "speechless" after they derailed one of their rivals' hopes of winning the Premier League title. We are disappointed with the result. It was the first time Mauricio Pochettino's side had trailed in a league game in a month and the damage would have been heavier had Tottenham goalkeeper Hugo Lloris not made a diving save to deny Jonathan Calleri.

"We managed to bring [the gap] back to four points but after today, it's almost impossible, but we will give it everything for the last three games". It is always hard when you move stadiums and you saw that with us and Wembley - we tried to make Wembley our home but it is just so hard.

After narrowly missing out on the title last season, the North Londoners looked like they might go a step further in 2016/17. When my team is playing like this I'm happy.

Speaking to the BBC after Tottenham's lost, Pochettino commented that, "It's not over" before explaining that he and his team will "have to wait but are thinking that it will be hard to catch Chelsea". This season was important for all to see that football is not about one man or one player, it's about being strong as a unit. We miss a little bit of fluidity to play in possession and move the ball quick and try to find the space and break them down.

"Now we're safe, if we get some more points we can finish only one or two places below where we were past year".

"With all the obstacles we have had this season the guys deserve a lot of credit", said manager Slaven Bilic, who has had to cope with continual speculation about his future.

Tottenham's midfielder Eric Dier admitted his team's title aspirations are now highly unrealistic.
