North Korea detainee mourned at OH funeral

Former NBA star Dennis Rodman said, "People don't see ... the good side about that country", when discussing his recent trip to North Korea with ABC's "Good Morning America" on Friday. Otto Warmbier, a 22-year-old University of Virginia student who was sentenced in March 2016 to 15 years in prison with hard labor in North Korea, died this week, days after returning to the United States.

North Korea has claimed that Otto Warmbier fell ill from botulism and was in a coma after taking a single sleeping pill.

Rodman was elected to the Hall of Fame in 2011. Three Americans remain in custody in the North.

Smith accused Rodman of "coddling" Kim. According to CNN, Warmbier's doctors said the 22-year-old student was in a condition they called "unresponsive wakefulness" or "persistent vegetative state".

The State Department says Wednesday's talks would focus on ways to increase pressure on North Korea, but also cover such areas as counter-terrorism and territorial rivalries in the South China Sea.

"While I greatly appreciate the efforts of President Xi & China to help with North Korea, it has not worked out", Trump wrote. He was charged with "hostile acts against the state" for allegedly stealing a propaganda poster from his hotel. Though his family said they were told Warmbier had fallen into the coma after contracting botulism and taking a sleeping pill, USA doctors believed that Warmbier had been beaten and suffered massive brain damage.

"He told him it's just like every other country", an insider told Page Six after Strahan landed a controversial interview with Rodman following his return from the country's capital, Pyongyang.

Earlier this week, Jay Klein, a rising sophomore at DePauw University, recalled joining the Wyoming High soccer team as a freshman and getting to know Warmbier as one of the friendliest, most spirited seniors playing.

His former soccer coach, Steve Thomas, said Warmbier came from a religious family and was involved in mission trips and a birthright trip to Israel. The article also criticised South Korea for using Mr Warmbier's case to seek the release of other detainees.

"The US should ponder over the consequences to be entailed from its reckless and rash act", he added, possibly an allusion to the three Korean-Americans now imprisoned by North Korean authorities. "It ain't about trying to release people", Rodman said. The report by the nonprofit C4ADS lays out where the vulnerabilities are in North Korea's financial networks and supply chains and how new sanctions could disrupt them and bring the regime to heel.

"Every life is very important, Otto Warmbier's life is very important, (so are) all the detainees and 24 million people living under such a awful state right now", he said.

North Korean military shows its submarine-to-ground ballistic missile at a parade in Pyongyang in April.

When Dettwyler was criticized on what she had posted, she responded hastily, elaborating that, "I said Otto's behavior is like the "white, rich, clueless males".[who] think nothing of raping drunk girls at frat parties and snorting cocaine, cheating on exams, and threatening professors with physical violence".
