Putin: Claims of Russian Interference in Trump Election 'Remind Me of anti-Semitism'

Putin said he would continue to communicate with U.S. President Donald Trump, saying good relations are in the interests of both countries.

Putin wrapped up his initial response to Trump's exit from the Paris agreement with the English phrase "Don't worry, be happy". Putin opted for a decidedly smaller hypothetical culprit-Kelly's three-year-old daughter. That's actually the opposite of what Russian Federation hopes to gain from its influence attempts, which means that Putin just spent a lot of time and effort for not much - and that assumes an unlikelihood that they had any real impact at all.

Putin got a laugh at Kelly's expense early on when he asked her if she had read the Paris deal herself. Putin added that United States participation is essential for the success of global efforts.

Facing questions from NBC's Megyn Kelly, who moderated a panel discussion at St. Petersburg's economic forum, Putin said the claims of Russian interference in the USA election contained "nothing concrete, only assumptions". A panel discussion with Megyn Kelly caused Putin to become agitated.

Probes have centered on former national security adviser Michael Flynn, who was sacked three weeks into his tenure after lying about his contact with Russian Ambassador to the U.S. Sergey Kislyak and former campaign manager Paul Manafort.

The subpoenas were announced Wednesday as the special counsel overseeing the government's investigation into possible Trump campaign ties to Russian Federation has approved former FBI Director James Comey testifying before the Senate intelligence committee, according to a Comey associate. That's precisely what Russian Federation is - a point that Mitt Romney made in 2012 to much derision, only to be vindicated over the next several years.

He also said that US accusations about Russian Federation were reminiscent of "anti-Semitism and blaming the Jews", describing them as "disinformation".

Things are looking up in St. Petersburg - the rain stopped...& I will interview President Putin on Friday. "A dumb man who can't do anything would blame the Jews for everything". An idiot can not do anything himself, so the Jews are to blame.

"Let us agree on a unified understanding of norms, fundamental principles of the worldwide law and adhere to these rules". "She thinks", Putin exclaimed, noting the issue required certainty.

His lawyer said in January that Mr. Snowden had the right to remain in Russia until 2020 and to apply for Russian citizenship in 2018. "Should we not talk about improving tensions?" That is his job. "He must meet, discuss current affairs, negotiate".

"And we sometimes see such attempts [in Syria]", Putin said, explaining that forces within the country are being used by other foreign parties to fight Assad.
