Putin gives new election-hacking theory during Megyn Kelly's NBC debut

Megyn Kelly's much-anticipated, one-on-one exclusive interview with Russian President Vladimir Putin aired Sunday night on NBC. Therefore, if someone, and I am not saying that it's us (we did not interfere), if anybody does influence in some way or attempts to influence or somehow participates in these processes, then the United States has nothing to be offended by.

Flynn is one among a number of current and former Trump associates at the center of investigations into whether anyone close to the president helped Russian Federation interfere in the US election, and whether any crimes were committed.

Putin said he had talked about the allegations with former President Barack Obama and with several other officials, adding: "No one ever showed me any direct evidence". Trump has denied any collusion between Russian Federation and his campaign and has questioned the veracity of the US intelligence finding. "What was the nature of your relationship with him?"

"I never met with him". And then afterwards I was told, "You know there was an American gentleman". That's why, in the grand scheme of things, we don't care who is the head of the United States. "Had there been anything significant, he would have reported it to the minister, and the minister would have reported it to me", the Russian president said, "There's nothing to even talk about". Where would we get this information from? Are you all — have you all lost your senses over there?”. In fact, he said that USA hackers could have been the ones to frame Russian Federation. "It's just absurd", Putin said answering the question if that meant that there were no meetings between Kislyak and members of US President Donald Trump team.

The contacts Flynn and other Trump aides had with Russian officials and bankers are drawing intense scrutiny, particularly after USA intelligence agencies concluded that Russian hackers meddled in the American election.

Putin suggested that skilled hackers anywhere, including the US, could shift the blame for hacking onto Russian Federation.

Putin's remarks came during an interview with NBC News' Megyn Kelly.

The comment stemmed from an interview with the NBC reporter and followed his explanation regarding an alleged meeting he had with President Donald Trump's former national security adviser, Michael Flynn.

"There's a theory that Kennedy's assassination was arranged by the United States intelligence services", he said. For me, this is just fantastic.

Putin minimized his contact with Flynn, who was sacked by Trump in February after offering misleading descriptions of conversations he had had before the inauguration with ambassador Kislyak. You and I have been working together all day today. "And out of this sensation you created a weapon of war against the president", he said, referring to Trump. "Where would we get this information from?"

"I want to ask those individuals directly, 'Did they have that kind of pressure?'" Warner said, referring to Coats and Rogers. Flynn, a retired U.S. Army lieutenant general and former director of the Defense Intelligence Agency, was paid $45,000 to speak at the event.

"Right now, I think we have representatives from a hundred American companies that have come to Russian Federation", he continued. You people over there...good job. He used to be in the intelligence services.' That's it.

"This sums up my entire acquaintanceship with Mr Flynn".
