Crews dealt with windy conditions as they battled a northern Arizona wildfire that has burned almost 7 square miles (18 square kilometers).

The nation's largest active fire is raging across Southern Utah near the ski resort town of Brian Head.

In Los Angeles, California, there are three states including California are terrified of increasing heat waves with temperature over 100 degrees, which also prompt a potential alarm of the continuing wildfires that till now perished over 100,000 acres under its fire rage.

Republican Utah State Rep. Mike Noel on Monday blamed environmental groups for the fire.

"Most of the fire activity has occurred in the areas outside and north of town, and due to the extraordinary efforts of firefighters, Brian Head Resort, the town of Brian Head and other local businesses have been unaffected by the fire", Wilkerson said. Firefighters have established containment lines around about a quarter of the fire.

A wildfire burning through a dense Arizona forest has forced hundreds of people from their homes, closed a major road and created a huge plume of smoke over an area devastated by a blaze four years ago that killed 19 firefighters.

Many residents have painful memories of a 2013 wildfire that killed 19 members of an elite Prescott-based firefighting crew nearly four years to the date, and some struggled to leave their homes behind. More than 500 firefighters were battling the blaze. One of the main roads into Prescott was closed. Mayer has about 1,400 residents.

A fierce wildfire that has destroyed more than a dozen homes and forced the evacuation of 1,500 residents raged largely unchecked in southwestern Utah for an 11th day, as an army of firefighters struggled to corral the flames.

The blaze has grown to 2.5 square miles (6.5 sq. kilometers) since it broke out outside San Luis Obispo on Monday afternoon.

They say the estimated firefighting costs now top $7 million for a fire started June 17 near the Brian Head Resort by someone using a torch tool to burn weeds. The Frye Fire is about 70 miles northeast of Tucson, the second-largest city in Arizona.

"A significant area of thin density smoke attributed to a number of wildfires over the Western and Southwestern United States could be seen this morning stretching from Wyoming southward over a good portion of Utah, Colorado, Arizona and New Mexico".

The fire has reached into remote areas of Dixie National Forest, where heavy fuel is continuing to feed it. Briggs said when it emerges from there, firefighters hope to get a better handle on it as it moves into lighter sagebrush.
