Cavs have agreed to sign 2015 draft pick Cedi Osman, sources said.

According to ESPN's Brian Windhorst, Osman will receive a three-year, $8.3 million contract, with approximately another $700,000 going towards his Euroleague buyout.

Osman was selected with the first pick in the second round in 2015 (acquired from Minnesota in a draft-day trade that involved Tyus Jones).

Luckily, Osman's energy, hustle and defensive tenacity should give him the chance to earn minutes in year one. Beside spending money on the contract, the 2016 National Basketball Association champions also had to pay $700,000 for Osman's buyout from his European team, #Anadolu Efes. While remembering that the three-point line in the Euroleague is 19 inches closer to the rim, if Osman can show any semblance of the offensive player he was in Turkey, at the very least he'll be a solid three-and-D player.

The Cleveland Cavaliers added another piece to their 2017-18 roster with the signing of forward Cedi Osman on Wednesday morning. He's a high-energy player with the ability to defend the wing.

Speaking to Turkish sports channel NTVSpor, Macedonian-born Osman, 22, said that he was thrilled to be able to play alongside some of the NBA's hottest stars. The 6-8 Osman is known for his defense.

According to ESPN, the Cavs used about half of their mid-level exception to sign the Turkish small forward. It makes the total value of the contract $9 million.
