Donnie Wahlberg must have the right stuff for employees at a Charlotte Waffle House.

So giving, as a matter of fact, that he left a $2,000 tip after a meal at a local Waffle House. Now that's what you might call "smothered and covered".

If that sounds too fantastic to believe, Wahlberg documented the visit in a almost 11-minute Facebook Live video posted on his Facebook page just before midnight Wednesday. Wahlberg wrote on Facebook. "So, when I walk into a * a href="" data-ft="{"tn":"*N","type":104}" *#WaffleHouse, and the staff treats me like a king, you better believe I treat them like queens!

Waffle House is known for its delicious food - and low prices.

Wahlberg and his group were in the Queen City for a Thursday night show at the Spectrum Center. We hope Jasmine (and her mom) have a great time at the concert and that Mr. Wahlberg keeps frequenting Waffle Houses.

While Wahlberg ordered the classic steak, eggs and back, he surprisingly enough didn't even get a waffle, WCNC-TV reported.

Before leaving, he paid his $82.60 check and left a generous $2,000 tip.
