Abuja - Acting President Yemi Osinbajo arrived Abuja at about 5 a.m. Wednesday, after meeting with President Muhammadu Buhari in London, the British capital Tuesday evening.

"We should expect him back very shortly because he is recuperating very fast and very, very well".

In this photo released by the Nigeria State House, Nigeria Acting President Yemi Osinbajo, centre, speaks to reporters a day after meeting with Nigeria President Muhammadu Buhari, in Abuja Nigeria, Wednesday, July.

The Vanguard newspaper said that the Borno State Police Command, had confirmed that 19 people were killed and 23 injured in the latest Boko Haram attacks in Maiduguri.

He returned in time for the weekly federal executive council meeting.

Asked to show proof of his allegation, Fayose said: "I'm not going to prove that to Nigerians".

"You will agree with me that there is a need to rejig the cabinet as we have spent two out of Buhari's four years mandate".

Earlier this week, Nigeria's first lady, Aisha Buhari, launched a cryptic attack, apparently aimed at powerful ruling party politicians suspected of manoeuvring for the presidency or deputy presidency while her husband was ill. We spoke for over an hour and his humour is all there, he is doing well.

He insisted that Buhari was critically sick and that the government of the All Progressives Congress (APC) had continued to hide the true health status of the president.

Osinbajo, who said that he discussed wide ranging issues with the President during their meeting, however, added: "I can't go into specifics". The office of the president and office of the government are offices that encourage the office holders to perform.

The Financial Times of London, United Kingdom, has criticized President Muhammadu Buhari, saying the "ailing" leader has done nothing to grow the Nigerian economy. "It shows the president is in a critical condition".

"If care is not taken, I will release pictures and this will create serious problems for the country".
