French military band performs wonderful Daft Punk medley for Trump and Macron

Donald Trump has continued his state visit to France by attending a Bastille Day parade, where a military band played an medley of Daft Punk songs.

Yes, it's as tragic as it sounds.

Trump did, however, applaud at the conclusion of the performance, which included portions of Daft Punk's "One More Time" and "Harder Better Stronger Faster", as well. They invite world dignitaries to their country, and regale them with world-class showcases of their culture's food, music, and art - and in the middle of all this, they break into Daft Punk medleys, as performed by their military brass band.

The French electronic duo may not necessarily mesh with Trump's tastes, as some of his favorite artists that the president has mentioned in the past include Peggy Lee, Neil Young, Frank Sinatra, and Tony Bennett. While Macron clearly loved the little tribute to France's most famous musicians, Donald seemed to not quite pick up on what was going on.

In other words, it was one hell of a shindig to mark the turning point in the French Revolution. You can watch it below - and keep an eye out for how Macron reacts compared to Trump.

Trump is, apparently, not familiar with their music.
