"I am very relieved to say we brought four young men one step closer to their loved ones so they can rest in peace".

A person with first-hand knowledge of DiNardo's confession said DiNardo killed the four men separately after selling them marijuana and then burned their bodies at his family's farm.

The men are Jimi Tar Patrick, 19, of Newtown Township in Bucks County; Mark Sturgis, 22, of Pennsburg in Montgomery County; Dean Finocchiaro, 19, of Middletown Township in Bucks County, and Tom Meo, 21, of Plumstead Township in Bucks County. Finocchiaro's remains were found less than 12 feet deep grave that is situated on the farm of Solebury Township, lies 30 miles north of the city of Philadelphia, which was a common one, and no specialty on it as the official said.

PEOPLE could not reach any of the missing men's family members for comment.

After a frantic few days of searching for four Pennsylvania men, police were led to a 90-acre-property belonging to the parents of 20-year-old Cosmo DiNardo. When Meo and Sturgis got out of the vehicle, DiNardo claims he shot Meo in the back - then shot Sturgis who was trying to run away.

Police early on focused on DiNardo as a person of interest in the case of the missing men, after a signal from Finocchiaro's cellphone was traced to DiNardo's family farm. "They're tenderly, painstakingly, reverentially recovering the remains of people they do not even know, that they never even met". They shot and killed Finocchiaro and then placed him in a metal tank that he referred to as the pig roaster, Dinardo said, according to the criminal complaint.

Kratz gave a similar statement to detectives on Thursday night but claimed that it was DiNardo who shot Finocchiaro, not him, according to court documents.

Kratz, an alleged co-conspirator in the killings of three of the men at a Solebury farm, has a lengthy rap sheet. He also said DiNardo sold guns. "They're down 12-foot deep in a hole that's getting deeper by the minute", said Weintraub.

The details were provided after one of DiNardo's lawyers said Thursday that DiNardo had confessed to killing the men and had told investigators where their bodies were. Sturgis started to run away, and Dinardo shot Sturgis, killing him, the affidavit states. "We just don't know how many".

Kratz told police that DiNardo "basically crushed" Meo with the backhoe. "In exchange for that confession, Mr. Dinardo was promised by the district attorney that he will spare his life by not invoking the death penalty", Lang told reporters in Doylestown, where the district attorney's office is located.

"I can't imagine what they're going through", he said. DiNardo then continued to shoot at his body after he had died, The Daily Mail said. Online records suggest he attended the same Catholic high school as Patrick but was a year ahead.

DiNardo's parents, Antonio and Sandra DiNardo, own the farm in upper Bucks County, a bucolic area with rolling hillsides, new housing developments and historic sites. DiNardo picked up Meo and Sturgis, then drove them back to the Solebury farm where Kratz was waiting.

DiNardo also had been arrested Monday and held on $1 million bail on an unrelated gun charge before his father paid $100,000 to bail him out Tuesday.
