According to The New York Times, shortly after President Trump arrived in France on Friday for an official visit, he took a moment to tell the country's first lady, Brigitte Macron, what he thought of her physical appearance.

He said "something could happen with respect to the Paris Accord".

Sadly, we can't see the reactions of the Macrons.

This leaves open the possibility of him reconsidering the decision to pull USA out of the Paris climate agreement.

As part of the commemoration of the 100th anniversary of the entry of the United States of America into World War I, US President, Donald Trump will attend tomorrow at the Bastille Day military parade.

Questions about Russian Federation and the US presidential campaign followed Trump across the Atlantic, but cordiality was the order of the day, and both leaders appeared intent on getting off to a good start.

Macron hopes to act as Trump's bridge to Europe, his advisers have said, as other leaders here effectively isolate the U.S. on a set of key issues. However, right now it is hard to say, how exactly it will settle between the leaders, but it is also hard to imagine that Macron will not wish to address in the typical fashion.

After French President Emmanuel Macron called for a final question from an "American journalist", President Trump instead called on a man who identified himself as a journalist from "Phoenix TV of China".

"I really have a feeling that you're going to have a very, very peaceful and handsome Paris".

Bastille Day marks the storming of the Bastille military in prison in 1789, an event that would spark the French Revolution.

The American was the guest of honour at today's Bastille Day parade to commemorate the 100th anniversary of the USA entry into Wolrd War 1.
