Nathaniel Chalobah is reportedly determined to force his way out of Chelsea this summer despite a huge contract offer.

Watford have announced the signing of midfielder Nathaniel Chalobah from Chelsea.

The England U21 global midfielder, who will wear No 14 for the Hornets, made 15 appearances last season as Chelsea won the Premier League title.

The 22-year-old has struggled for game time at Stamford Bridge and with the Premier League champions closing in on the signing Tiemoue Bakayoko from Monaco, may slip further down the pecking order.

He impressed during that loan spell in the 2012-13 season, making 42 appearances for the Hornets and scoring five goals.

He made just 10 appearances for the Blues last season but made just one league start.

Chalobah made 37 appearances for Watford in the 2012/13 season and the England Under-21's global believes he can replicate that game time in the new season as a Hornet.

He has since had loan spells at Nottingham Forest and Reading amongst others before spending last season as back-up in Antonio Conte's side.

He received offers from several clubs in the 2016 summer window, but Conte himself stepped in and rejected those approaches as he wanted the youngster to stay with our first team and join our efforts in battling for the Premier League title.
