Feast your eyes on the latest trailer for "Blade Runner 2049", the highly anticipated sci-fi sequel to 1982's "Blade Runner".

The second full trailer for Blade Runner 2049 may be the most compelling yet because it provides the clearest look at the movie's story.

Harrison Ford and Ryan Gosling star in the Blade Runner sequel that's been 35 years in the making. Because based on the trailer it seems like Agent K (Gosling) figures out that there are Replicants that have been allowed to age way past their four-year lifespan. It's not perfectly clear whether or not replicants will replace humans, but the truth could kick off a war in the process.

It's been 35 years since we first clapped eyes on Harrison Ford's Rick Deckard in the original Blade Runner.

"Every leap of civilization was built off the backs of slaves", says Leto. "Scrambled the records. We were being hunted!" Current officer K (Ryan Gosling) is working a case and apparently discovers Deckard's whereabouts, which his boss (Robin Wright) isn't happy about.

"The future of the species has finally unearthed", Neander Wallace (Leto) intones at the end.

Ridley Scott is executive producer, while Denis Villeneuve - best known for Prisoners (2013), Sicario (2015), and award-winning Arrival (2016) - will be directing. The film will hit theaters on Friday, October 6.
