Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt's Divorce Isn't As Much of a Done Deal As We Thought

It's been almost a year since they split last summer, a breakup catalyzed by a widely reported plane trip in which Pitt was allegedly involved in an altercation with their son, Maddox, then 15. But it seems she still holds a candle for her ex - "She's still so in love with him", is how Us Magazine's source put it. 'They haven't done anything to move it forward in several months and no one thinks they are ever going to'. They were a couple for some years and then married in a secret and surprise ceremony on their French estate in 2014.

September 20, 2016: the world learns with amazement that, between Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie, all is finished.

If rumours are to be believed, Pitt and Jolie might be headed towards reconciliation after all, as the mother-of-six allegedly dropped hints in her inner circle. According to a report in US Weekly, a source has revealed the "divorce is off". We all have to have boundaries. Eleven months after the announcement shattering of their separation, Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie appear to have (re) found a second wind. "Although Angie took some strong shots at him in the interview, he knows he's finally in a good place with the kids and that one day, he'll have the custody arrangement that he wants".

When asked about how she is coping with her divorce, Maleficent actress Angelina made clear that her priority was her children - Maddox, 15, Pax, 13, Zahara, 12, Shiloh, 10, and eight-year-old twins Vivienne and Knox.

Jolie recently opened up about the divorce in a revealing interview with Vanity Fair in July. Another sign, the fact that Angelina removes her ex from the children. Their divorce announced in September 2016 had many ups and downs and everything suggested that Angelina Jolie wanted to move forward. I think that's part of the human challenge: "You either deny them all of your life or you answer them and evolve". Pitt, who admitted in an interview with GQ that he was having some pretty serious alcohol problems around the time of the split, has reportedly quit booze cold turkey.

The source told US Weekly she'd be willing to get back together "if he showed he was committed to raising a family". I have to show them. "I grew up with a father-knows-best/war mentality - the father is all-powerful, superstrong - instead of really knowing the man and his own self-doubt and struggles", Pitt said.
