Even Kellyanne Conway Can't Deny Trump's Low Approval Ratings

".trump.200.days.v2.pdf">38 percent of Americans approve of the job the president is doing versus 56 percent who disapprove.

Fifty-nine percent of Republicans said they "strongly" approve - compared with 73 percent in February. In June, 53 percent of white voters without a college degree approved of the president. The IBD poll shows Trump's biggest decline coming among those making between $30,000 and $50,000 per year; 40 percent of this group approved of Trump last month, but it's down to 27 percent today.

One in four USA voters think President Donald Trump acted illegally regarding his presidential campaign's alleged involvement with Russian Federation, according to a Gallup poll released Wednesday. Gallup says 37 percent of those polled believe the president acted unethically but not illegally.

The recent numbers do not appear to back the claim. Some of this was to be expected, as the realities of governing eclipsed the fantasies, and Republicans on Capitol Hill haven't helped by stepping all over themselves on ObamaCare repeal.

The level of Trump's approval has become the lowest at this period in the USA history, the news outlet added. Still, only those who say they are very confident approve of the president overall - those merely somewhat confident and those uneasy do not approve, suggesting that his overall ratings could be more tied to how Americans feel about their own prospects than to the economy overall. Trump's base turned out enthusiastically on the basis of economic angst, not "values". If the American people think that Trump is failing, it's because he has done anything that they like. That's the lowest of any high-quality poll in Trump's entire presidency.
