Leah Remini: Scientology Investigation by Feds Needed

"Elisabeth Moss believes that she can't talk to me", the Kevin Can Wait actress, 47, alleged to The Hollywood Reporter in a profile published on Wednesday, August 9. During an interview on The Ellen DeGeneres Show previous year, the Kevin Can Wait star alleged that she had "been followed", but said her story "pales in comparison to what happened to other people" and "how people are bullied into silence". If the Federal Bureau of Investigation ever wanted to get anywhere, all they would need to do is do a raid.

In a declaration to Us Weekly in December of 2016, the church wrote, "Leah Remini is doing this show for the money, like the way she profited from her book. Everybody who's ever gone to Scientology has folders and everything you've ever said is contained in those folders". "There's a thing in Scientology called 'acceptable truth.' It means you only say what's acceptable to the public". It's often the people who leave the church who are the most critical of Scientology, so perhaps there is another side to the story? She had previously given an in-depth interview back in October 2015 to ABC's 20/20 about her experiences with Scientology.

"Scientology policy dictates that children are grown men and women in little bodies". Her star rose again when she turned her views on Scientology into a TV show. Children are treated as crew. She alleges the church's practices and records are criminal in nature. They are assets. And if a child is molested, that child and/or parent can not go to the police, because it's against policy. "They will usually bring the molester in and give them spiritual 'auditing, ' or counseling.Anything that happens to you in Scientology happens to you because you made it happen".

"There have been more than 500 incidents of vandalism, harassment and threats of violence against the church, its parishioners, staff and leadership", said Scientology spokeswoman Karin Pouw.

Remini is nominated for her docu-series, Leah Remini: Scientology and the Aftermath, while Moss earned a nomination for her role on The Handmaid's Tale.

Despite the organization's tactics, Remini is not afraid of whatever repercussions she might personally face.

She went on to add some criticism, however, by hitting out at the church: 'I don't hold anything against Elisabeth Moss other than she's continuing to support a group that is abusive and destroying families.... "Any award I get is for them".

Over the weekend, Remini won Outstanding Achievement in Reality Programming at the 33rd Annual Television Critics Association Awards for her docu-series, which may have displeased Moss.
