President Buhari has been away on medical leave since May 7th 2017.

In a statement by his Femi Adesina, Buhari confirmed that his health had tremendously improved and wished to return to Nigeria.

In a bid to convince Nigerians that the Presidential Media Team was with President Muhammadu Buhari in the United Kingdom on Saturday, a video of the visit has been published on Aso Rock's Facebook page.

The President's absence from the country has generated controversy and his comments come the same week that protesters took to the streets demanding that he resumes or resign.

Last month, his aides released a photo of Buhari having lunch in London with senior member of his ruling party, All Progressives Congress (APC), amid intense speculation in Nigeria about the President's health.

President Muhammdu Buhari, on Saturday, said falling ill has taught him "to obey orders, rather than be obeyed'".

Others were Special Adviser on Media and Publicity, Femi Adesina, Senior Special Assistant Media & Publicity, Mallam Garba Shehu, and the Personal Assistant Digital/Online Media Lauretta Onochie.

Among those the President hosted included the President's Senior Special Assistant on Diaspora Matters, Hon.

Amidst protests asking for his immediate resumption or resignation, another "tourist" team has been to visit President Muhammadu Buhari in London where he is still receiving medical attention more than 90 days after he left the country.

Nigeria's President Muhammadu Buhari says he feels ready to head home. "Here, the doctors are absolutely in charge".

Buhari was also presented with a "get well soon" card signed by his ministers. "May God reward them", he said in reply to the information that he was being prayed for across the continent.
