Taylor Swift just mysteriously wiped her entire Instagram, Twitter, and Facebook clean

Back in 2015, Taylor was targeted by hackers who took over her Twitter and Instagram accounts because the star quickly regained control of her profiles.

Swift hasn't explained the reason behind her sudden social media changes, but it's possible the singer is prepping for a comeback. Even her official website was entirely blacked out as of Friday morning.

Over on Twitter, her avatar had disappeared. She's done the same thing on her Facebook page, and deleted all the photos on her Instagram account. She's certainly tweeted between now and then, but you can't see it anymore.

And another claimed the JavaScript for her website seemed to hint the single has something to do with the blackout because the code quotes her hit single Blank Space and says, "I've got a black space". Could she be replacing her profile pictures with imagery from an upcoming album? After all, it's the three-year-anniversary of Taylor announcing to the world that 1989 was coming. If you went through that ordeal - and came out stronger on the other side - you might feel the need to clean your accounts, too.

Back in March, her music industry pal Ed Sheeran told the BBC Swift would probably not release music until the end of 2017 around Christmas, "because that's when everyone buys records".

Original post, 12:20 p.m.: Taylor Swift has unexpectedly deleted all of her Instagram posts, as of noon today, August 18.
