Crawford, fighting just outside of his hometown of Omaha, Nebraska, knocked out Julius Indongo in the third round in a history-making victory at the Pinnacle Bank Arena, electrifying the crowd of 12,121. His easy victory Saturday night made Crawford the first fully unified boxing champion in any division since Jermain Taylor owned the IBF, WBA, WBC and WBO middleweight titles after defeating Bernard Hopkins by split decision in July 2005.

Become the undisputed world champion in his weight class be winning all the major professional world titles at his weight class.

Indongo, 34, quickly got up and fought back for the remainder of the round, but he was being overpowered by the American. Thank you Nebraska, thank you the USA - I did this for all of us.

Speaking in the ring after the fight as he was surrounded by his family and all of the belts Crawford had this to say: "It feels great, like a dream come true". Crawford was never in danger of looking second best as he sharply countered the taller Indongo's rangy levers before concluding the action with a sickening body blow.

Indongo, however, was no match for the pound for pound rated Crawford, who extended his professional record to 32-0 (23) with yet another standout performance. When asked about the punch that ended the contest, Crawford informed us: "We've been practicing body shots all camp".

The 34-year-old Indongo, who is unfamiliar to most boxing fans in the U.S., landed very few punches in the three rounds as he dropped to 22-1 overall. " ... I'm the only one who can be labeled as a champion at 140 and that's a big deal to me".

Crawford admits he will sit down with his team to discuss another fight but he is also determined to enjoy the moment.

"We been practicing body shots all camp".

"I'm the only one who can say I'm the undisputed champion of the world".
