Tim Tebow greets autistic boy from on-deck circle then hits HR

The 29-year-old outfielder took notice and came over to shake Bosch's hand through the netting.

Bosch suffers from neurofibromatosis and has high-functioning autism, and his family says that it's tough for him to play sports due to the former condition that causes tumors to grow on nerve tissue.

Seth's mom, Ileanna, was filming video as her son walked down near the field in an attempt to meet his favorite player, the Tampa Bay Times reported.

"When Seth came back to his seat, he was crying", Ileanna Bosch told Fennelly. "And then Tim hit the homer. I started crying, to", she recalled. How does that happen? "I think God brought Seth and Tim together".

Then, Tebow stepped up to the plate and crushed a three-run homerun.

It's little wonder, with all these Tebow moments, that the St. Lucie Mets announced last week that they set a single-season record with 108,057 fans. But when Tebow's squad visited the Charlotte Stone Crabs in Port Charlotte, Florida, on July 29, he simply raised the bar.

In his first minor-league at-bat, in April, he slugged a two-run homer.

His mother videotaping the interaction as he went down to the on-deck area to get Tebow's attention.

So meeting Tebow was a dream, as you can see in the above video.

And that's exactly what Tebow did.

Just Tebow being Tebow, right? However, as he proved again recently, he sure seems to know when to hit 'em.
