According to Fox 4 News, 39-year-old Christina Hester was allegedly seen by a sheriff's deputy at Lexington Middle School in Fort Meyers cutting and snorting cocaine while in her vehicle around 3:50 p.m. He then saw her use a cut straw to snort the substance.

Even the children at the middle school were shocked by her behavior.

Some of the parents at the school who learned of the arrest said they were "disgusted" by Hester's alleged behavior.

The deputy took Hester into his office until after school had been dismissed for the day.

The officer brought Hester inside his office, per WFTX, and asked her if she had anything in her auto. Police say they recovered more straws inside Hester's auto, as well as 0.5 grams of cocaine in her purse.

"That's insane. That's just so irresponsible and they shouldn't be doing that", 12-year-old Spencer Yeager told Fox4Now.

It is unclear if Hester had a child who attended the school.

The students said they're taught about drugs at Lexington Middle School. Requests for comments by local reporters have so far been unanswered by Hester.

"People come to school to learn, and not to see people doing drugs in their cars", Sara told the news station. She is being held on a $6,500 bond.

Hester is set to appear in court on Friday.
