However, the CBI had on Tuesday said it had not received any notification from the Haryana government for further investigation into the murder.

The action comes after the CBI on Friday registered a case under sections of murder, arms act, Protection of Children from Sexual Offences (POCSO) Act and Juvenile Justice Act.

Gurugram: With a delay of over two weeks and huge uproar, the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) has finally registered a FIR in the Ryan murder case. He also raised questions over why the CBI investigation was not started when even Haryana Government had sent a recommendation?

The CBI has also started questioning the school bus conductor Ashok Kumar, prime suspect in the killing, regional head of the school group Francis Thomas and HR head Jeyus Thomas after taking them into custody.

A team of 12 CBI officers today visited Ryan International School.

Pradyuman was found dead with his throat slit inside the school's washroom, within an hour after his father dropped him.

Police have claimed that Kumar had tried to sexually assault the boy and murdered him with a knife when he resisted.

The Gurugram Police's special investigation team (SIT) probing the case had also detained school's gardener, Harpal Singh, a key witness along with 17 persons including section in-charge Anju Dudeja, suspended acting principal Neerja Batra, former principal Rakhi Verma, bus driver Saurabh Raghav, bus contractor Harkesh Pradhan and eight security guards.

Meanwhile, on September 14, the Bombay High Court had rejected the anticipatory bail pleas of the three Mumbai-based trustees.

The Gurugram district administration has taken over the Ryan School management for three months. Find us on Facebook too!
