ESPN College GameDay Week 3 Location Announced

The Cardinals are 2-0, topping Purdue in Indianapolis last week before dispatching North Carolina on the road Saturday behind another superlative outing from quarterback Lamar Jackson, the reigning Heisman Trophy victor.

"College GameDay" broadcast its show from Clemson's campus for that matchup two weeks after coming to Louisville for the first time.

The No. 14 Cardinals will host the No. 3 Clemson Tigers at 8 p.m. Saturday in the team's home opener at Papa John's Cardinal Stadium.

ESPN is bringing "College GameDay" back to Louisville for the second consecutive season, the network announced Sunday.

The Cardinals nearly knocked off the Tigers in Death Valley a year ago and they will have a chance to get revenge at home next weekend. Louisville QB Lamar Jackson was all over the place in that one, tossing for 393 yards and three touchdowns while also rushing for 132 yards and three more scores on 19 carries.

No. 16 U of L topped North Carolina, 47-35, on Saturday to improve to 2-0.

Clemson's defense paved the way to the Tigers' fourth consecutive triumph against Auburn on Saturday, allowing only 117 total yards, including 20 in the second half.

The Cards haven't beat Clemson since joining the ACC in 2014. The lines opened with a 3 point spread for the Tigers to cover and a posted total of 59.5 points and it has remained as such ever since, which shows that it promises to be a close and exciting game!
