Delhi Woman allegedly gang-raped in moving car thrown out near Akshardham

According to the 24-year old victim, she was kidnapped when she was at the Golf Course metro station in Noida.

The police officials swung into action and investigated the matter from morning to evening and finally found it was false complaint.

According to police, the woman was abducted from Noida's Golf Course Metro station gate on Friday night and was raped in a Mahindra Scorpio vehicle.

The woman then dialed 100 number and informed police. The woman said that she was explaining the route when the accused dragged her inside the SUV and drove away. The woman said she was taken to Greater Noida via Noida-Greater Noida expressway where the accused took turns in raping her.

Soon after the police was alerted by the victim, an FIR was registered under section 376D and 506. The Delhi Police could be involved since she was dumped near New Delhi's Akshardham temple.

"An FIR has been lodged and the victim has been sent for medical examination", ASP Abhinandan said. The victim also refused to submit her mobile phone, saying that her privacy may be eroded. "The daughters of the country will not be protected merely by slogans like "Beti Bachao Beti Padhao","she said.Accusing the BJP of making a person like Yogi Adityanath, who has a criminal record, the Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh, she said, "his primitive views about women are well known". Police are now conducting an investigation into the same, said ANI.
