Parents Pull Second Child From School After Fight Over Transgender Rights Ensues

The Rowes aim to raise their sons with biblical values

This is James O'Brien's must-watch response to a Christian family who are preparing to sue their children's Church of England primary school because it allowed a boy to wear a dress.

"We believe it is wrong to encourage very young children to embrace transgenderism".

"There needs to be a different way of addressing this. a school environment is not the best place to be addressing this".

The family withdrew their son from the school and will now educate him at home on the Isle of Wight, alongside his eight-year-old brother, who was taken out of school a year ago after a boy in his class also began to wear dresses.

"Like any other state school, our schools comply with the legal requirements of the Equalities Act 2010", a spokesperson for the Diocese of Portsmouth said.

Mrs Rowe said: "Instead of just shoving it into the public domain in a school where other children are affected as well, we felt that it should have been done privately". It would be unlawful for any of our schools to do otherwise.

"Our schools are inclusive, safe spaces where pupils learn to respect the diversity of all kinds".

'Because our schools have a Christian ethos, we also believe that children of all faiths and those with none should all feel equally welcomed, valued and nurtured as children of God within our learning communities'.

"We feel that there's a political agenda that's driving and pushing this".

"We did get a staunch letter back, we love the school, we love the parents and the students".

"From our perspective all kids are equal, but we have boys and we have girls".

"At six years of age children are exploring all sorts of new ideas and feelings".

The parents agreed they would not be concerned if girls wore pants to school. "We were concerned for welfare of all children, anxious it's going to cause confusion". Vulnerable children are being used as pawns and will be harmed the most.

Their bid has received support from the Christian Legal Centre, which has claimed that the couple have been called "transphobic" simply because they refused "to acknowledge a transgender person's true gender".

Mr Rowe said: "I am shocked by the suggestion, especially from a church school, that just because we question the notion that a six-year-old boy can really become a girl, we are transphobic".

Dr. Joanna Williams, author of Women vs Feminism, told the Telegraph that the results suggest that transgender issues are being "over-promoted" in schools.
