Since then, a number of Syrians have taken shelter in neighboring countries like Jordan.

And the Quantico actress chronicled the whole experience of her visit on social media with the intention to get support from across the world, for this noble initiative.

Chopra, the goodwill ambassador for UNICEF, is now in Jordan to help children uprooted by the civil war in Syria. Priyanka describes her attempt as "bad.' However, we liked it. (Swipe right to see Priyanka's 'lame attempt" at Rugby toss). However, the lady did not take it lightly when a netizen told her that instead of spending time in Jordan with Syrian refugee children, she should be focusing more on kids back home, the lady gave a rather sharp retort while emphasizing that no child's problem is less important irrespective of where he or she belongs to.

Priyanka Chopra shared a video narrating her feelings on the same.

To which she mentioned, "Today was very emotional". Today we spent the day in a host community meeting Syrian refugee families (like this one) so desperately seeking a safe place of normalcy for their families.

She has been documenting her visit to Amman, which hosts 1,80,000 Syrian refugees, on Instagram. Priyanka is now in Jordan visiting schools teaching Syrian kids and has spoken about how everyone has the sense of inclusivity in some form or the other.

This visit shook her and she mentioned, "I have never done this when I do field trips, but on this one, I feel compelled to reflect on what I feel after every session because I felt a lot". The world has seen the pain that war has left in Syria but the resilience and joy and hope in spite of it are so inspiring to me. "They should be yours too", she said.
