Tennessee Volunteers and Florida Gators lock horns as the 2017 college football continues on Saturday. Instead of Florida's first offensive score in almost two games and a virtually insurmountable 20-3 lead, Tennessee had the ball back trailing by just 10. But Davis lost the ball out of the back of the end zone as he crossed the goal line, and the touchdown was turned into a touchback upon review. Tennessee running back John Kelly did not let the Vols fall too far behind. Florida's two touchdowns vs. MI in Week 1 came via interceptions returned for touchdowns.

After some bad clock management left just nine seconds on the clock, Franks and the Gators appeared to be playing for overtime.

Redshirt freshman Felipe Franks made his first career start against MI finishing a poor 5 of 9 for 75 yards before being replaced with Malik Zaire. He would not be touched until he was mauled by his celebrating teammates.

The redshirt freshman completed 18 of his 28 pass attempts, throwing for 212 yards and two touchdowns with one interception. Marquez Callaway had a 37-yard touchdown catch.
