Serena Williams' daughter already has her own Instagram page: Alexis Olympia might be the youngest Instagram user

Just weeks after Serena Williams gave birth to her daughter, Alexis Olympia, she penned a note to her own mother, Oracene Price, praising her parenting skills.

Williams goes on to thank her mom for showing her class and grace, and being the role model she needed throughout her life.

Ohanian Alexis Olympia was born on 1 September and made her social media debut on Wednesday. "I don't know how I would react if she has to go through what I've gone through since I was a 15 year old and even to this day". "I'm not sure if I am as meek and strong as you are yet", she says. Williams wonders. How did her mom keep her head high and her integrity intact as her daughter was ridiculed by people who were "too ignorant to understand the power of a black woman"?

Williams's greatness and excellence was picked up at this year's Open by Sloane Stephens, a young African American woman, who won her first grand slam title against veteran grand slam competitor Madison Keys on September 9. The baby is healthy, although in one of her videos Williams stated that they were leaving the hospital with the baby after "six, seven days", sharing, "It's been a long time, but we had a lot of complications, but look who we got - we got a baby girl!"

The entry is emotional, focusing on how proud she is of her strong body, and how happy she is that her young daughter, Alexis Ohanian Jr., looks like her. "It has been said that that I use drugs", she continued. "We don't all look the same", Williams adds.

She credits her mom with helping her "endure all the hardships". We are curvy, strong, muscular, tall, small, just to name a few, and all the same: we are women and proud!'

"You are so classy, I only wish I could take your lead".
