Trump Is A 'White Supremacist' And Unfit For Office — ESPN's Jemele Hill

ESPN is distancing itself from Jemele Hill's "white supremacist" comments about President Donald Trump.

On Monday night, SportsCenter anchor Jemele Hill entered into a debate with other Twitter users in which she referred to Trump as a "bigot" and "white supremacist" who has surrounded himself with other white supremacists.

An ESPN anchor called President Trump "a white supremacist" and said musician Kid Rock is "pandering to racists" in MI.

ESPN previously fired former Major League Baseball pitcher Curt Schilling over a controversial meme objecting to the North Carolina transgender bathroom law.

"Donald Trump is a white supremacist who has largely surrounded himself w/ other white supremacists".

On Tuesday, Disney-owned ESPN released a statement that Hill's tweets were "inappropriate". Hill has not been suspended, and she still has her job, though not many people are watching her and fellow left-winger Michael Smith perform what's been called a ratings bust.

In the Twitter exchange, Hill had originally gone after Kid Rock, who had given what some people perceived as a racially-charged speech during a recent concert.

One wonders if ESPN is really all that concerned about Hill's meltdown. The network that fired Curt Schilling for spreading an anti-transgender rights meme is fighting a narrative that it leans left. Former reporter Britt McHenry claimed she was laid off because of her conservative views. But the network chose not to suspend Lou Holtz that same year, who also made some unfavorable Hitler remarks.
