You'll soon be able to unsend that risky text in WhatsApp

Well, no matter how much time it takes before the feature is publicly rolled out, the ability to recall messages will be pretty useful.

"WhatsApp has added in beta the possibility to edit messages that you already sent".

Reports say the recall server is working and successfully deleting messages.

With this feature, the users will be able to recall or unsend texts, images, videos, GIFs, documents, quoted messages and even status replies within a five-minute window, The Independent reported on Tuesday. Also if the server works, this does not mean that the feature is now enabled. Now available in the latest WhatsApp beta, this feature is reportedly allowing users to delete the messages that have already been sent.

WABetaInfo claim that while the feature now exists and works, it is not currently enabled, although it is expected to be rolled out in the near future. The feature will be available for both the Android and iOS platforms. "It is actually disabled by default and it's under development", reads a previous tweet from the site. As per a recent leak that is doing rounds, the instant messaging app has started testing the "Delete for Everyone" feature. The chat service has officially announced that that it is now testing new tools that will enable businesses to connect with consumers easily.
