Destiny 2 update: New patch notes confirmed following Bungie server downtime

Bungie took to Twitter to confirm the gauntlet will be removed from Destiny 2.

Bungie is working to remove a Legendary piece of armor from Destiny 2 that features what looks like a well known white supremacist symbol.

Not even out a week and Bungie has quickly addressed a problem with an item in Destiny 2 that had unintentional similarities with a hate symbol.

Bungie has recently detailed when to expect cherished Destiny 2 events like Trials and the arrival of Exotic vendor Xur.

Bungie remove Legendary item with similarities to a white supremacist logo

- Bungie (@Bungie)2/2 Our deepest apologies. "We renounce hate in all forms". The company explained that the reference was not "intentional" and that it will be removing it from the game. Bungie CEO Pete Parsons also tweeted that the company values "place the highest emphasis on inclusion of all people and respect for all who work with us or play our games".

The development team have confirmed that the latest Destiny 2 update will be available after the game's servers go back online, with patch notes available to view at the bottom of this article. "We are removing it", the developer said.

The problem here is that the Road Complex's forward "K", backward "K" with bars sandwiched in between mirrors a similar design for the "Kekistan" flag, an alt-right flag that is pretty clearly based on Nazi symbols and 4chan elements.
