WWE 2K18 Gameplay Featuring Braun Strowman vs. Brock Lesnar

John Cena is taking on Roman Reigns at No Mercy

It's felt like forever since SummerSlam last month, and it actually has, as the WWE pay-per-view event calendar has decided it was a good time for a month's breather before they head back into the twice-a-month setup. Titus Worldwide has stalled since Akira Tozawa lost the Cruiserweight Championship at SummerSlam for some reason, and a Crews loss here could start a little introspective storyline. After trading insults and competing in tag team matches together, a contract signing was done to confirm a match between them at WWE No Mercy.

Unless WWE is telling a bigger story than just this match, it seems like there is no reason for John Cena to win here.

The shoot style promos that John Cena and Roman Reigns have been cutting on one another has been really entertaining to watch in the past few weeks, to make their match to feel like an even bigger deal.

At SummerSlam, The Miz didn't defend the Intercontinental Championship and was very vocal about how much he hated that.

Enzo Amore simply isn't generally doing it for me in the Cruiserweight division, yet this match is no less than a touch of fascinating to anticipate on Sunday. We've seen plain Finn Balor against Bray Wyatt some time recently, and we've seen The Demon King against The Eater of Worlds. I have no idea what the WWE creative department has in mind for the finish, but if I were pulling the strings, I would probably have Cena perpetrate some kind of heel turn in this one which might entail some kind of double cross or skull-duggery - perhaps even a stretcher job and a lot of drama that appears to have seriously injured Reigns.

Speaking to Edge and Christian on their Pod of Awesomeness, Cena revealed he can't put all of the outside opportunities on hold while waiting for a match with Reigns down the line.

Amore knew going into the new roster that he was not as skilled as everyone else.

John Cena to Roman Reigns.

Like The New Day and The Usos on SmackDown Live, Sheamus and Cesaro have been battling with Seth Rollins and Dean Ambrose for the Tag Team Championships for a couple months.

This match could go essentially every path conceivable, aside from Emma proving to be the best.

However, having said that I think the victor of this match was always going to be Nia Jax. This leaves challenger Braun Strowman as a +720 underdog, meaning a $100 bet upon success would win $720 and this would include a DQ or count out victory where the title wouldn't change hands but the wager would be won. Cesaro and Sheamus asked for their rematch shortly after.

At the WWE No Mercy 2017, the current Women's Champion Alexa Bliss will defend her title in a Fatal 5-Way match against Emma, Bayley, Sasha Banks and Nia Jax. If you want to be surprised, then beware, but if you want an insight into the unpredictable world of WWE, then proceed.
