In another post sent in a Sunday morning flury of tweets he mocked North Korean leader Kim Jong Un, referring to him as "rocket man".

US President Donald Trump seems to be taking (golf) shots at his former rival Hillary Clinton.

The tweets come after a week in which Clinton has released her memoir and North Korea launched a ballistic missile over Japan.

Mr. Trump tweeted that spoke with South Korean President Moon Jae-in last night, saying that he had asked the leader "how Rocket Man is doing".

Both leaders' offices said Trump and Moon pledged during their call to work with the global community to ramp up pressure on the North Korean regime, which has so far been undeterred in advancing its nuclear and ballistic missile program despite a tightening of worldwide sanctions.

After tweeting about North Korea, the president then appeared to shift to addressing his supporters directly, retweeting posts including one showing a cartoon of Trump hauling goods like Oreos, a Ford automobile and coal across a body of water.

The first part of the video shows Trump, wearing tan slacks, a blue blazer and a red "Make America Great Again" hat teeing off on a golf course. Long gas lines forming in North Korea.

Trump slammed Clinton over her new book earlier this week too, tweeting that she "blames everybody (and every thing) but herself for her election loss".

He followed that up with a retweet of a red electoral map with text reading: "keep it up Libs", and "This will be 2020".

The GIF of Trump hitting Clinton is reminiscent of the violent anti-CNN clip Trump retweeted in July. The White House told ABC News that the president didn't get the video from Reddit. "His Twitter bio is filled with the hastags "#Trump. The tweet was never deleted and remains on Trump's twitter page. "Gab.ai" is a social network popular with the alt-right.
