This new map looks like it's in the Destiny 2 location of Nessus. Sadly, the Presitge Raid mode has been pushed back by a week thanks to some enemy exploits found out by Bungie. This battleground will be added to standard crucible playlists following the Iron Banner's completion.

Iron Banner matches will be 4v4 affairs, just like other Crucible modes, and features the Control game mode.

The endgame Iron Banner event is now live in Destiny 2, and Bungie have made some changes since we last saw the Iron Banner in the original game.

In addition to the new PvP mode, a new map, The Lost Shore will be available for all PvP modes once the update goes live.

Bungie is also doing away with the old bounties and ranks with the upcoming Iron Banner event.

The long-awaited Iron Banner is finally arriving in Destiny 2 today and with it comes a new multiplayer map for Guardians to fight it out on. So form your fire team and test your strength!

Destiny 2 is out now for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One, and it will launch on October 24, 2017 for PC. To gain access to the Iron Banner event in the first place though, you'll have to have completed the main Destiny 2 campaign, have spoken to Lord Saladin in the Tower, and embark on the Iron Banner quest. After speaking to Lord Saladin, you'll unlock an Iron Banner quest, which provides access to the Iron Banner playlist.

Loot in the Iron Banner is gained through the use of the tokens, which can be gained by successfully completing and winning matches. After this, hop into quickplay and you can start things up! The following activities are reset each week, allowing you to earn new rewards for completing them.
