KTXS Forecast: Cool temperatures into Thursday

Tomorrow, morning cloudiness will clear and the afternoon will be mostly sunny - highs will be in the mid-60s. We'll have partly cloudy skies as well with a light breeze out of the southeast.

The weekend will not be much different with mostly sunny skies.

Today will feature cloudy skies and breezy conditions with areas of showers and drizzle throughout the day. Highs on Thursday will be in the 60s with mostly sunny skies.

Morning showers and cloud cover will remain in the forecast for Monday. Temperatures won't make it out of the 50s further north with 60s in areas that see afternoon sunshine. Temperatures will warm into the 70s Saturday, and possibly even 80 Sunday, which is a good 10 to 15 degrees or more above normal for the middle of October! Mild start temperature wise starting off in the mid 60s. NW NJ and the Jersey Shore may get stuck in the upper 70s - still nice and warm. Temperatures will stay in the high 70s barely breaking into the 80s with very minimal rain chances. Temperatures will climb to around 90 degrees with relatively low humidity this afternoon. The record is 84 and highs are expected to soar into the lower 80s. Dry weather continues for Friday and Saturday, with rain chances returning late Sunday into early Monday of next week, as a cold front moves through. Overnight lows will drop down into the lower 40s Monday and Tuesday night.
