North Korea hacks US, South Korea war plan

She is seen as the most influential woman in North Korea, only second to Kim Jong Un's wife, Ri Sol Ju, Bloomberg reports.

During the plenary session, which is held at least once a year, the North Korean leader's younger sister Kim Yo-jong was elected to the party's politburo, a sign of her rising importance and clout within the North Korean regime.

Last week, Trump dismissed the idea of talks as a waste of time, a day after Secretary of State Rex Tillerson said Washington was maintaining open lines of communication with Kim Jong Un's government.

South Korea claims it has secured the technology it needs to build a non-lethal bomb that can paralyse North Korea's power systems.

North Korea has launched two missiles over Japan and conducted its sixth and biggest nuclear test in recent weeks in defiance of U.N. sanctions as it races towards its goal of developing a nuclear-tipped missile capable of hitting the United States.
