Authorities in southern OH say an eight-year-old boy has been found safe after initially going missing from a home where three other people were found murdered Wednesday night.

The sheriff says deputies spotted Lawson driving around 12:30 a.m., but he ran into woods after a short pursuit in Ironton.

Holston was entered in the National Crime Information Center as a missing, endangered child, but the office of Ohio Attorney General Mike DeWine announced that advisory was canceled around 9 a.m. Thursday after the boy was found.

They haven't been publicly identified.

Deputies found the bodies of three adults in a house trailer in an unincorporated area of Lawrence County on Wednesday evening (Thursday NZ Time), and a fourth adult was found stabbed in the head and neck about 400m away in another residence, the sheriff's office said.

Law enforcement agencies throughout OH are searching for a 7-year-old boy that was abducted from a crime scene in Lawrence County. A fourth adult was found stabbed at a nearby residence and was flown to a hospital. The sheriff's office said in a statement that releasing further information would compromise the investigation.

Ironton is about 110 miles (177 kilometers) south of Columbus.
