In other news, with the release of the PVP mode "Ghost War", Ubisoft also announced that "Ghost Recon: Wildlands" will be fully playable for free later this week beginning on Thursday, Oct. 12, until Sunday, Oct. 15. Furthermore, there will also be a patch for the game's campaign mode.

The development team is also planning to support this mode with new classes, new maps and new modes in the coming months.

Starting at 3 AM ET on October 10, Ghost Recon: Wildlands will be taken offline for said maintenance, when the new content will be patched in. Moreover, the game will be offered at a 50% discount all weekend should players wish to continue on. Gamers on PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One will be able to download the full version of the game and explore freely beginning on October 12 at 2AM Central, until October 16 at 2AM central. This includes the new Ghost War PvP deathmatch mode which is being released to everyone as a free update. The progress that players achieve during this free trial period will be carried over to the game once they have made the purchase. If you like what you see, you only have about half a day to wait until you can jump online and try it out with your friends.
